Wearable keyboard pioneers

When looking at the future, it is always good to also look back. Here are a few real veterans!

Wearable keyboards have been around for a long time. Many people creating a DIY version, and the number of patents from the 80's and 90's on this topic is huge. We are really thankful for these pioneers. Already to some extent: succesfully delegated computer input to the hands.

More than these earlier initiatives, Typeware aims for an off the shelf solution with next level ergonomics, accessible to a large group of people. Still accessing the full keyboard and not just the alphabet. With the accelerometer/gyroscope integrated in many aspects of the device - to make it a device that can compete with a classic keyboard and mouse on performance. The benchmark on performance can be WPM, but the real benchmark is to be editing with alternating use of mouse and keyboard.
