Typeware R&D is ongoing. Engineering efforts may result in modifications compared to the device as depicted here. This may affect the final specs and launch price. (For instance: the images show a strap where most likely a clamp will be used, as seen in the video's found from the Technology section of this site). Upon shipment, each customer will receive updated product information and will receive the opportunity to either confirm or revert the order (with refund). A postponed shipment date, a changed product price or higher shipment cost, changed specifications, are all considered valid reasons for a refund.(The Typeware brand is sometimes also referred to as Typewear)

Today, our manufacturing partner is adapting the design of the 5th prototype for molding and manufacturing, which will be shipped as beta product. Getting this right takes both time and funding, so first units won’t ship in the immediate months ahead.
Prior to expected shipment date, Typeware will post frequent updates.
Milestones up until today:
- Invented computer input wearability as ultimate liberator of tiring and painful computer work postures.
- Ergonomic concepts of the prototype are verified by ergonomic experts of the research institute TNO: Typeware device set is 8x more ergonomic than current ergonomic keyboards and mice.
- Patented the wearable input and the dynamic key mapping.
- Working prototype of the complete product (hardware & software)
- Tested the effectiveness of the product with engineers that have severe RSI
- 200+ hand-fit tests to ensure that the devices are adjustable to most adult hands (90% fit for 1.60-1.90m long adults)

The way computers are operated today causes many people to suffer from physical strain or pain during productive computer work, including all founders of Typeware.
Typeware's vision is a world in which it is pain-free and comfortable to work with computers, no matter how long or intensive you work. Typeware's mission is to create healthier, more inclusive and future-proof ways of working with computers.
That's why we designed our flagship product: it frees people from unhealthy, fixed postures, it frees people from their desk, and it equips them for the use of XR: virtual screens and spatial authoring.
