We have been integrating many of our idea's into working technology. Though it has been a bit of a struggle to get it all to work it is also a big achievement. We are very proud to show our solutions and to demonstrate that they work. Some examples:
- The clamp, which we consider to be an improvement over the strap
- The Adjustments allowing fine adjustments to accomodate not only different hand sizes but also different hand shapes
- The Twin Key works now. Though we still need have some challenges here, it is indeed doing what is intended: preventing accidental key presses and avoiding the more extreme grasping hand positions
- Looking at comfort of wearing it: it already feels comfortable and the device holds it position wel. Still, there will be several improvements towards the final version.
Here is a video demonstrating the latest prototype!
We can clearly state that we found a good way to hold the device while all 5 fingers remain available for typing. No fingers are needed to hold it, as is the case for most existing controllers and wearable keyboards).
From here, we will keep tuning the prototype and all the logic inside. In parallel we will be working on the design of injection moldable parts as well as on fitting the (further shrunken) electronics nicely in the housing.
We look forward to the future!
